A reporter notebook is a small, portable notebook that can easily be carried wherever you go. Reporter notebooks typically have a durable cover and excellent paper for your writing pleasure. They also usually have an elastic band or closure to keep the notebook securely shut.

Though sizes and bindings vary, a reporter’s notebook is usually oriented vertically, with the binding — usually a wire spiral binding — at the top. It also has a hard chipboard front and back cover.
